Hi Folks-

I'm working on a zine submission for the jam, and I'd like to be able to offer physical copies in addition to a PDF at some point. I've gone to a print shop in town with some other zine projects in the past, but I'm kind of petrified/super embarrassed to hand them something kink-related lol. Realistically the thing is formatted so I should be able to print at home or anywhere with self service printers, but it'd be really nice if I didn't have to wrestle with the stapler myself.

Does anyone have experience navigating this sort of thing?

Honestly, I would assume they have seen much worse. But you can always pick a different place. There must be someone with mail delivery within a reasonable range.

You might even find a library with an advanced enough printer that it can handle the stapling.

i usually order my print copies online from mixam! if you're thinking of ordering them to bring with, mixam is a really good choice with many binding and page type options, I get all my stuff from them that I don't print at home and bind myself

Yeah, I've thought about using Mixam. I guess my main concern with them is like, if I send something in and there's a mistake or I don't like the paper or something, it'll take longer and be more expensive to iterate cuz they have to mail everything to me.

Most likely I'll see what the places around here with self service printing can actually do, and then if that doesn't work out I'll punt it to Mixam.
