Briefly explain your games interpretation of the theme?
Togheter as, you move the two halves of the ships togheter, my intention was to make a classic game with a little twist!
How much CODE (text or visual) did you make?
You created most of the code - but re-used some chunks of code
How much of the game's ART did you make?
You created all of the art assets seen in game (not with AI)
How much of the game's SOUND EFFECTS did you make?
You created some of the audio - but used a lot of existing sounds
How much of the game's MUSIC did you make?
You created all of the music heard in game (not with AI)
Other comments (Code / Art / Sound / Audio)
Art of course all by me (my main role is 3d artist) Sounds from pixabay and my own voice, Music all made by me (and it shows LOL) about code, i reused some basic stuff like settings and utilities!
Aren't you awesome for being creative and taking part?

I thought when I heard describe this that it'd be interesting but maybe a bit of a gimmick - but having played it, I can really say its a lot more engaging than I expected. My brain REALLY struggled to switch context for each ship, so when I need to quickly navigate one then the other to avoid situations, I start making mistakes... and the mistakes compound! I got 4800 as my best so far I think, so no where near the leader board.
The join together mechanic was cool and gave you that sense of feel good - which is interesting really cause all you do is give the player "regular" control during that phase. the burst fire gun seemed really strong. one thing I didnt know as a player was if I collect A and B, would it merge or replace? I assumed replace, so didn't try!
Visuals were cool, feel good to blast things - which is always what you want in a game like this.
Thanks for getting involved in the jam <3
I like the gameplay and the idea!
It's definitely not easy to control both at once but that's where the fun is, right ?
I didn't understand what energy was at first, I thought I was limited on where I could shoot. But not at all 😅
Good game overall :)
The pixelated graphics feel reminiscent of R-type (at least Delta, the one I've played way back on the PS2). The flashy projectiles and colourful particles also help to make it shine. The two ships moving in opposite direction is a fun twist, which I could handle pretty well... until it became very hectic! I was initially confused by enemies with higher health. At first I forgot to enter my name, but it was nice to see my previous score corrected once I did. Respect for the music as well. Overall a flashy and hectic shooter that ramps up in a fun way.
Sweet idea :)
I'm definitely not good at these games, but the merge mechanic was fun.
core gameplay is solid, controls felt intuitive when looking at the top ship, and a little disorienting when switching to the bottom. Combat feels good overall, but it’s not always clear which enemy ships take one hit versus two, so clearer feedback or visuals on enemy toughness would help
