The retro CRT screen effect is fantastic and incredibly well executed. The gameplay feels smooth and engaging. At times it was a bit unclear which command needed to be typed, so an additional help or hint system could be very useful, but overall this is a great experience.

Very nice entry. I loved the art style, CRT option, and the story was pretty unsettling for how simple it was! It took me several minutes, but I eventually got the crowbar and killed the baddie. I enjoyed this more than I thought I would. Great job!

Love the aesthetic here and it may be on purpose, but it would be nice if the parser offered a bit more help with things. I cannot figure out how/where to get the gas mask at even though I read the note and advanced on, etc. Nice entry, especially with the green CRT!

This was scoped really nicely for a 6-day jam. I think this serves as a solid intro to a game concept, and it doesn't overload me with too many options.

In the room with the crowbar, I had a hard time getting back into the hallway. I tried leave, exit, door, and then finally managed to leave by typing in return. Maybe some more text options would have helped with that friction, especially when the help and guiding is kept minimal!

On the topic of minimal, I really like the visuals, reminds me of hacking in the Bethesda fallout games (which may be controversial of me to like lol). The ASCII illustrations and changing states also help give a sense of place. The monitor distortion and CRT effect really complemented the tone and aesthetic.

Second the help expansion cause I was blasting commands trying to find ones that worked the first time i tried playing lol. Eventually i did get my gasmask and get out. Really cool vibes

I had a hard time with the parser, it seems cool and I really liked the shader. I'd love to see the help command expanded. Still had a good time though!
