I like the idea of pulling tthe level obstacles towards you to solve the puzzle. Got myself stuck on the second level. I feel controlling the character was tough, which made it hard to position yourself to pull things the direction you want. That same movement also contributed to the PVP feeling a bit slippery / inaccurate. Maybe its one of those that requires players to get used to the movement quirks to master it - but if not intentional, be good to work on that movement feel more in future. The music was good, did you make that yourself? Thanks for taking part in the jam!
1.Sorry that u got stuck.
2.yes it is one of those.
3.Yes i made it.
4.Im just happy that i made this game
The idea is interesting, but the controls are difficult. It doesn't support AZERTY keyboards by default and I had issues understanding that I had to activate the magnet, and how.
I think I agree with some other comments, with some qol and fixes, could definitely become a good game!
Feels like you got some great ideas, but need to flush out the executing a bit more. Both the "physics" and the controls are clunky. If you can fix that and add some more juice, you can definitely make it work.
oh i changed the physics for different levels because they felt unrealistic
puzzle: a few times didn't always attract the block i expected, would help to have a highlight on what block is going to be magnetized.
The attraction mechanic felt odd, moving block to set position when you pressed button made pulling blocks out of the way feel difficulty. replaying level 2; top section I made a gap, thought i could get to exit (couldn't - on me), then accidentally pulled first block back into place and trapped myself ⛓️👮♂️
yea that happend to me too while playtesting which is why i added a reset button
