I spent a long time trying to assemble the wheel, dragging the pieces around the screen and changing their order, but I still couldn’t figure it out. Some kind of feedback during the process—whether I placed a piece correctly or not—would have been really helpful.
I liked the idea itself, and I’d also like to praise the pleasant pixel art and well-chosen music. Nice job)
Thanks for the feedback. Im actually currently in the process of trying to make a “whole” game and not just a game jam version. I plan to address a lot of the common struggles/issues people had to make an enjoyable experience. Ive also been practicing and reading up more on pixel art and art in general to produce better assets for it, im not sure when it’ll be done it'll get there eventually!
Very precise game, really feels like your boss is breathing down your neck to point out the 1mm off center screw. Otherwise the music for this game is quite nice and the concept is good, though again it's quite precise.
Here's my playthrough! I think this is a cool concept, but it felt a bit too precise. After recording, I finally got it, but I don't really know what I did differently. I've seen everyone elses comments, and don't have much more to add. Building a car piece by piece is a really cool concept though, I'd love to see a full release for this!
Thanks for trying it out! I will definitely have to look into making a fully polished version of it since I've had a few mention it. I think the snapping was set to something like 24 pixels away and I've considered the idea of just making the first part of each assembly static that way theres no need to figure out where to snap it!
Nice concept! I'm not sure why there are levels that only have one part to place in the middle tho. Maybe if they all had at least 2-3 parts to assemble it would be even more fun! Also, having some kind of exact visible position would be really helpful, since it's quite pain to place the parts on the correct spot
Thanks! I wasnt sure either on the levels with 1 part, my idea was introduce every single component prior to the final level, so that you wouldnt get there and suddenly theres a few new parts you had not seen. As for the visible position to start I had tinkered with a new ideas for it but then ended up breaking the game as i wanted it to look nice and not just a straight texture change, thanks for the feedback.
Currently there is no actual ending, you just build the 3 things and then thats it, im working on a full sized game at the moment where at the end you actually build a piece of equipment that im hoping to have done before the end of the jam, otherwise ill just upload it on its own!
I worked in a warehouse with plenty of car/truck parts and this fully reminded me of all the pieces that the mechanics would tell me about. I love this! Assembling games are always fun but making it 20 seconds makes it stressful and fun! Amazing job! :)

It's a bit hard to put the parts in the correct spot since there isn't an indicator to help us but all in all it was a nice game. Good job!
Interesting concept and nice artwork. I put them together but nothing happened. Let me know what I'm missing. Also please check out my game.
