Theme interpretation and application
Apart from the general visual style being minimalistic, the "plot" is that you play as a subroutine of some computing system trying to fix a bug that is increasing the system's complexity

I enjoyed this one ! It was cute !

One thing I want to commend is that the basic 3d platforming control feel good which is not something you see often for jams (though, I would add jump buffering and variable jump height based on how long the jump button is pressed). All the movement stuff felt good.

On a less positive note, I think this needed a checkpoint system because restarting from the beginning could be rough. Obviously, a lot of combat stuff could be more fleshed out (such as including the machine gun in combat) but it worked for this.

Finally, I really liked the vibe and visuals of the game. The minimalist aesthetic worked well for me ! Your character was cute and animated well ! The music also worked well for the project.

I love the character! The animation is very fluid and nice, and I love how the expression changes depending on your action. The game could use more heals or a checkpoint system. I was only able to defeat the first boss once and was only given half a health after. Very good movement and cool mechanics

Thanks! I'm an animator, and my focus when designing is gameply, so it's nice that those are the things you noticed!

It actually never occurred to me to give heals after big fights...

The health parts restore you to full hp, if you can find them.
