Of course we all want the rate4rate but sometimes honest feedback can be more valuable as we all try to level up our skillset in game jams!

I will play every game that rates our game and give as thorough  feedback as possible!

Our teams submission is a Psychological Space Horror Game with a visual twist elicited by in game choices.

Even at a first glance the art is super compelling... the juxtaposition between the cheery and bright colors really put me on edge.
Just downloaded! Expect more feedback on your submission page!

Please take with a grain of salt I realize you only had 7 days (not sure if solo dev).

Pros:

Itch Page designed superbly

Amazing character design + world building. Strong Narrative focus

UI was polished and consistent with the art style of the game.

The contrast between the joyful feel of the art with the heavy choice gave me a heavy dose of horror induced cognitive dissonance.

Small things like the roaches + cats went a long way in making it feel immersive

Title Screen changing at the end.... 10/10 nice touch.

Overall very polished game with sick animations

Cons:

UI moves a little slowly

Music during cut scenes were great but wish there was more during nominal gameplay

Pacing was slow towards the middle.... few more sounds + animations would elevate this to a 5/5 game (currently 4.6 in my book)

Fantastic job! Hoping you create more visual novels with the same level of character design!!!!

Title: SlotCrawler: Spin. Match. Conquer.
Genre: Roguelite / Turn-Based RPG / Deckbuilder
Description: SlotCrawler is an early roguelite prototype that reimagines deck-building by replacing cards with a slot machine you build yourself. Instead of drawing cards, players design their own reels by adding, removing, and upgrading symbols, then spin each turn to unleash attacks, spells, and combos. This is not a game of chance, success depends on strategy, probability control, and smart synergies. The current version is an early prototype focused on mechanics (art is placeholder), with meta-progression and saving enabled. Ideal for fans of roguelikes, roguelites, and deckbuilders curious about a fresh twist on the genre.
