Interesting concept!

CRAZY idea. Took me a while to figure out what was actually happening, but it's very cool. I do wonder, though, if there is a more streamlined way to look at the photos that wouldn't totally invalidate the concept; it was difficult to keep having to open the downloads folder but I realize that is probably part of the point.

This is awesome. The first time I heard footsteps in the dark and saw the target on the photo I got chills, great idea for a game. I wish I could send the photos to my phone or something, so I could look at them while simultaneously playing. I had to alt-tab out to look at them and often I'd end up moving in the game when I didn't want to and I'd lose my position. But maybe there's a better way to look at the photos while playing on PC that I didn't think of. Great work!

Hello, thank you for trying out my game ! Didn’t think of using a second screen like that, but when it came to designing the menus I thought - why not use the filesystem? I didn’t want it too easy, and didn’t want to do more work, so there’s no other way to look at the pictures. How were you moving, was the camera rotation jumping?

Wohowow! The file-download mechanic is rad! Expanding this concept into a full-fledged ARG would be amazing.

That sounds like a really cool idea. Wouldn’t be able to add that on top of the game in time, but maybe some other time.

The idea is super original! But the game really needs patience and stubborness to finish it. I can clearly see it being released on Steam after a few iterations of upgrading!

Thank you so much for putting up with it! I had a silly idea and decided to follow through with it. I had a couple more think in mind to make it a more polished experience. I’m afraid it might be too annoying to play for a full release, but I’ll probably at least release an update at some point. Thank you for kind words and have a great rest of the jam :)
