Definitely cat behavior.
Personally, I would have liked a volume slider, because while the meowing is cute, it does get a little obnoxious after a while (and triggers memories of my own cats keeping me up late at night, like just get your snacks yourself you little buggers!).
A restart button would also have helped for when you misplaced a box to quickly start over without having to sacrifice your other lives first.
I really like the cute artstyle and the idea of the cat with the nine lives. I also enjoyed the animations and sound effects. The game really embodies "failure is progress". I would maybe add a losing state for when you reach a point where you have spent lives but some of them aren't placed right and you have no way anymore to reach the top but don't notice it immediately. It can be frustrating if you accidentaly push a box down but still have enough boxes to progress further and when you almost reach the top you realize that there are not enough left to win. So it would be good to have the game automatically restart if there's no chance to win anymore.
Cute game!
At first I thought I was already over with the level, without much gameplay, but then I realiezd there are actually obstacles to climb up. It feels too flat and at first glance ya cant really tell the difference between background objects and actual obstacles, besides just trying to hit anything and see if you collide with something.
Also yeah ya need to block the level borders, it damages quite a bit the immersion.
It was nice, with some decent planning and recently passed away Box-Cat placements, its a nice level
The audio and art go so well togetehr for such a cute and cozy vibe!
Sadly I could almost finish the whole game without using the death mechanic, THOUGH the cat was really cute and the whole game had a really cozy vibe. There were also Borders where you could just run out of map sadly.
Though I think if the map was a bit bigger with more ways it would be a cool challenge to figure out a way where you have to use as little deaths as possible to finish the game. Thanks for the submit :)
veryy cute wahoo kitty kitty kitty :333
