Game Description
help deliver holiday presents by operating your train with precise timing and momentum!
How does your game tie into the theme?
we interpreted momentum as inertia and wanted to incorporate a mechanic that rewards a player's skillful "feel" of the train's momentum and braking at the right time to deliver more cargo!

Super cool idea and take at the theme. I liked the art and sounds. Loved the explanation of mechanics in the menu, but got confused as to what the goal was when I entered the level. I think you've got a cool concept on hands that can take a lot of expanding in different directions. Curious to see if and how you'll keep developing it. Great job for a gamejam game!
Really cool idea to have the menu double as a tutorial. I got tricked into thinking there were three levels when there was only one, would like to see more!
So cute pixel art and nice sounds! My suggestion is to add some more usage of keys which shifts rails, because I completed 1st level pressing Z key only twice. Maybe add something that encourages player to switch presents color?
Fantastic! Loved the menu, solid execution of the gameplay. Definitely would enjoy some more levels, maybe different delivery zones have different buffs, like faster stopping so there’s some strategy to how to deliver presents.
excellent use of theme and adored the main menu, as a menu fanatic myself this put a grin on my face. I also loved how you did the mechanics, simple but effective. trying to go for perfects was a lot of fun and i loved getting rewarded with more speed! also nice touch on the audio! idk if you downsampled it but it had a classic old game console feel
I love the menu and level selection! That is so cool!
I also really liked the isometric camera. Rewarding the player's momentum for a perfect delivery felt nice and gave a nice change. Just a bit repetitive but would love to see more levels. I had fun playing!
Congrats!
A great use of train switches and momentum, I am excited to see level 2 and 3!
Seems like a fun idea but seems to be having some gameplay or communications issues. Once I load into any of the levels I can pick up one set of presents but can't pick up the others no matter where I stop. It isn't registering my score when I could pick them up. There is no way to drop off items once picked up as far as I could tell. No way to get back to the main track area without restarting the game. I could see this being really fun but it seems like there are issues, I'm also playing on windows so maybe it is just that version. I did really like the audio and feel off the train/controls.
thanks for the feedback, we'll definitely include more signposting after the jam that addresses those pain points! it's not communicated very well, but the orange platform is where you deliver cargo you've picked up, and you can't pick up more than one type of cargo at a time. you can go to the main menu with the q key!
Okay, that makes sense! Game was fun, controls were responsive and crisp, I liked a lot about it was just those few things. Good job!
Ho Ho Ho! Merry Everybody!
I tried playing the windows version but it says the pck file is missing. 😞
oh no! thanks for calling this out! we were able to re-upload a hopefully working windows build so let us know if it works! c:
Yes, it's working now! I'll give it a try later today.
Nice solid game! I was able to get perfect pickups/deliveries several times. And I loved the art for this game. Super cute!
I don't know if it was something I missed but I couldn't get it to run on windows, it kept saying the pck file was missing.
oh no, thanks for letting us know! we'll look into it!
hello, we've uploaded a hopefully working windows build. let me know if it works and thanks again for calling this out!
