Not sure what I was doing but I unfortunately couldn't figure out how to get out the first screen, not sure if it was just being glitchy for me. Like if I went on the ladder the character would ascend rather than descend. I feel like there's too many controls too if that makes sense?

Developer

Sorry to hear that. On the first screen, on the rooftop, you head left and use your laser lipstick gadget to open the pathway and drop down.
I want the spy to have multiple gadgets, but it does make the controls complicated.
I plan to add a tutorial and a few button prompts. Hopefully, that will help.

Great concept, nice artwork. I also found the controls a bit unintuitive but there's so much potential in the tall spy/tiny gadget man premise that I look forward to future versions with new levels!

Developer

Thank you. I have several ideas for the spy team.
Unintuitive controls seems to be the big issue I need to work on.

Nice, I like the cutsy story and the art. One thing though - I kept softlocking myself in the first room with the lock, as the enemy counter resets if you walk close to the door. Overall it was fun!

Thank you.
I will be sure to fix that in the next update.

This is fun, I think the heroine and her husband designs are really cute, so I'd love to see the game with proper sprites in the future. A husband-wife spy team with a tiny husband has a lot of potential, and their dialogue was charming, well done.

Developer

Thank you so very much for your kind words.
I have a few ideas in mind to make use of the premise. If you have any ideas, please share.
Spoiler. In a later level, Sabine will infiltrate a party being hosted by the villain of the level. She will be wearing a large hat that Edmund has built a tiny lab in. While Sabine distracts the villain at the poker table, Edmund will fly out the back of the hat unseen and case the area, taking pictures of important things.

Really neat concept, it seems there's lots of abilities, but the control scheme was really confusing me all the way through, leading me mostly to hitting random buttons hoping they'd do something useful.

I had a lot of trouble getting to the guard and then it seemed I kept knocking him out and getting knocked out at the same time so I'm not sure how I was supposed to handle that safely.

The art was great! I think maybe some input prompts or suggestions to tell the player how to do things initially would go a long way, I kept having to exit fullscreen to review the controls.

Developer

Thank you for playing. I'm glad you like the art.
There are a lot of abilities. I agree that a tutorial and/or input prompt would help.
