Great idea. Think you can expand on this for sure. Unfortunately it took a little while before something happened after hitting start and the ball got sent behind my player a lot, but I think those are easily fixable. good job!

Like others have said, hitboxes are weird, and you can hit the ball backwards. Starting speed is abit slow too. Game is def solid though, good entry.

I like the concept and think different hit strengths was a good idea. I had a hard time figuring out hitboxes, they seemed a little off. Also as everyone else stated, the music was really good, good job on the game!

I was kinda confused on what to do and the controls were really unresponsive. Loved the music!

Nice music and background, couldn't land a single point :'(

Thank you! Love OneManSymphony!

And sorry about that… the hitbox is hard to figure out, and I definitely should have added a visualization.

Thanks for playing!

Hi, I am not sure if there is a win condition here, but I've got like 10-7 - thats a win to me xd. I like screenshake effect and ball animations, however I haven't used any item except battery, and haven't pressed any key except W, because I thought they were useless. Also OST kinda fire, sounds are great.

Developer

Thanks for playing!

I completely ran out of time to add a win condition… the upside is you always have a chance to win lol

W and battery is the absolute best. I really wish I’d had more time to balance everything out and add more pals.

And I agree—OneManSymphony makes some awesome music!

Struggled a lot with the hitboxes on this. Liked the idea of the different hits but couldn't find good opportunities to use them. Managed to get a win sort of through brute force lol. Good job!

Developer

Thanks for playing!

In hindsight, adding a visualization for the hitbox definitely would’ve helped. Smash hit is definitely too strong..

Congrats on the win lol

I love how insanely intense the music is

It took me a bit to figure out the hitboxes but I eventually got it, came back to 9-8 in score, and declared myself the winner

I wasn't sure what the different hit speeds did so I always used W with the battery to make it as intense as possible to match the music

Developer

Thanks so much for playing!

Yes—OneManSymphony makes some pretty great music!

I definitely should have added a visualization for the player hitbox.

W with battery is definitely the best option. I just wish I’d had more time to better balance the different hits and pals.
