A fun little physics sim! Some time should go into finding another control scheme -- clicking on space to target, then typing a number, then clicking again to launch feels clunky and sometimes my click went through the button and changed the target instead of launching.
I survived 35 years! Also to me this is the truest horror game on Itch; the idea of impending cosmic doom, delaying the inevitable, the population dwindling as every living being's life exists only to make more explosives so that humanity can exist for just a handful of more years, people operating those explosives and sending them into space just guessing on amount, sometimes too much explosives sometimes not enough, millions of lives hanging in the balance and in the end: the cosmos does not care, it will still keep hurdling rocks towards you until we are all dead. But hey-hey, another game jam game with asteroids, heyyyy!
A very interesting take with physics-based gameplay! The background was very atmospheric!
This might be the best game theme wise!
Very original idea. As VividEnigma said, the controls take a little bit of time to get used to. And sometimes it feels a bit unfair when you get 20 astroids in your face with only 15 tons to send.
Cool game nonetheless!
Really like how creative your game is! Think it works really well with the theme and it runs really smooth. Had no bugs. Game took me a minute to get used to and understand but is really fun after that. Astroid come in really fast right away and at a pace that is sometimes almost impossible to deal with. I think it would be really fun if astroids spawned slower at first so player could get used to the mechanics and then spawn more frequently as time goes on. I really had fun with this and think it turned out great, good job!
