Bump this, I did the same thing, putting the keyboard in my inventory to place it on the desk nicely using r + right-click, and now the PC in game is unusable, the game saying "the keyboard is unusable. I don't know how to connect the keyboard back to the PC. The cables for both the keyboard and the mouse (which i also picked up in the same way as the keyboard) seem like they are glitched into the ground
