Great entry—in my personal Top 3, for sure! Love the graphics and characters.

There's something really nostalgic about playing this, like being back in school and playing a "Counter Strike 2D" flash game, haha.

Very solid game! I like that you can employ multiple approaches and that there was a variety of weapons to add some replayability. The art was also fantastic, and I appreciated that there was a pretty decent little story in there. I liked that the floor pattern changed as you progressed and that you used both brightness and texture differences to make walls / solid objects stand out. My only nitpicks are that the different weapon options don’t feel particularly impactful, and the floor textures are maybe a little too detailed; the floor flickers very aggressively when the player moves around, which made it hurt a little to look at. The guards are also a little less distinct against the floor than walls/obstacles and the player, and they can sometimes spot you from outside the FoV if they’re above / below you. Very well done overall, though – def one of my favourite entries! ^^

Some very minor bugs:

  • The game did get locked once when Maria died; she was on the floor, but she could still rotate and there was no option to restart (this might have been due to some funky WiFi issue on my part; figured I’d note it anyway just in case)
  • Maria can get stuck between walls if she changes orientation after sliding between them. I assume her collider is rectangular / ovaloid and can only fit between some walls in one direction. Very minor, but I did almost restart because I thought I was trapped haha.

Niiiice game for this jam! Art is amazing! I feel like the game as more interest in the gameplay when you aim for the good ending (I got all endings and struggled on good xD). Idk having lots of choice for weapon, a stealth system and all that stuff feels nice but a bit underexploited if you just get throught the game by going brrrrr and leaving. Also the guards spotting range is nearly equal to my camera range to see them if I'm right, it gives scenarios where you just get surprised by ONE guard entering your sight and spotting you without ever knowing there was a guard and it can get easily frustrating. The idea and excecution is still pretty good especially for this amount of time, I had fun playing it :D

Cool game! I had fun playing it. I also love the style and the characters in the game ^^

Very fun,  great pixel art too with everything being in one color pallet, really seals the deal.
And I like that there are multiple endings too, wanted to add that to my own entry but I just didnt have the time xd.

Oooh, I enjoyed it very much. ^^
Love the limited color pallete; great choice! Also the full arts of the characters look so good. Being able to pick your own loadout and choose to play aggressive and deadly vs. sneaky and silent was a great game design choice too. ^^ Tho I felt like playing sneaky was too easy while playing aggressive was too hard with no healing items (afaik). Good idea to implement multiple endings for replayability too. :>
All in all, very good job! ^^

Was surprised about the amount of options you’re given, with the different weapons and endings. Impressive in the time frame of 9 days! I’ll admit that the music repeating throughout (unless you were in combat) was not my favorite, but overall the art and sound design was good. Great work, solid entry to the jam!

Very fledged out for a game jam submission, I understand the theme was silent but I didn't really feel this from the project although it was fun to play I think if the idea could be incorporated more within gameplay, being stealthy should feel rewarding and a sort of puzzle.

Thanks for the comment! We really thought that we hadn't covered the jam theme well enough, so yes, it'd make sense for us to make the stealth mode more predictable and rewarding to follow when updating the game.

Absolutely incredible work for a game jam. Great art, audio, gameplay. Really sizeable amount of content and multiple endings. If I had to criticize anything it was a little difficult at times to tell which way enemies were facing and what their line of sight was. I did also wonder if I'm going in the right direction since the layout felt kind of sprawling.

Overall just incredible though really above and beyond.

It was a really fun experience! I got the maniac ending, but I would love to come back to see the other endings the game has!
