Game Description
A 2D hack-slash/action type game where you fight to stop a snow storm
How does your game tie into the theme?
You need to constantly feed the altar to keep progressing. You have to manage health, cold and the altar progress so keeping the momentum is hard.

A cool idea but super confusin
Thanks for playing.
A few other ways of interacting with the world would have been nice -- a dash or dodge, maybe a way to charge up a stronger attack?
Thanks for the feedback. Yeah, that would be really nice. The character had a secondary weapon at one point, but I decided to scrap it because wasn't fun and the controls felt really bad.
Cute artwork and does a good job ramping up difficulty. Got really tense in the final wave.
Nice work
Thanks for playing. It took some time to tweak the difficult curve, so I'm glad to hear you like it.
Very nice game! Graphics were good, and I really enjoyed the mechanic of the expanding ice field.
Thanks for playing.
Good UI, but the graphics don’t always look consistent (especially the scaling of the trees). The controls are smooth and the concept is solid. Overall, this is a nice entry!
I especially like the character with her bag and the idle animation. It’s a challenging game, I froze to death the first time, haha!
Thanks for playing, i froze so many times while playtesting the game that i lost count, haha. About the scaling, i was so focused on the assets matching the colors palete that i totally forgot about scale.
Great job completing your first game jam entry! I thought the game was really cute, though I had a hard time understanding what the blue bar was for. Sometimes it would go down, sometimes up, and sometimes not move at all. I also am not sure why I turned red. But I had fun killing the monsters even though I was unable to satisfy the altar.
Thanks for playing, I'm glad you had some fun. Explaining the gameplay it's something that i overlooked, i should have done something at least. The character turning red is a bug in the damage effect, but it's doesn't affect the gameplay.
I like the aspect of having to defend the crystal while managing your frost meter. My only complaint would be the diffiiculty scales too slow, and the pixel size is inconsistent. Apart from that, good entry.
Thanks for playing. About the difficult, i feel that too, but i was afraid of making the game too hard so i kept as is. But it's something i plan to improve on the game.
Really cute game! The UI was smooth and well scaled. I don't normally like a mix of pixel and vector elements, but for some reason the UI felt really clean to me and it didn't bother me. The controls were good and responsive, I was able to pick it up right away, and the animations were very pleasing. I was a little confused by the gameplay, I turned red for some reason and then I froze. I'll probably give this one a revisit.
Thanks for the feedback. I really should have done something to explain the gameplay better. The character turning red is a bug in the damage effect, sometimes it's get stuck, but it doesn't affect the gameplay.
