I really love this kind of game, takes me right back to childhood. Well done mate. It’s pretty hard and I didn’t manage to get through the night. Some pump-up music and a few kill effects would take the hype to another level.

Developer

Oh... Umm... Yeah... Umm, as of now, the night is... Well, endless. There really isn't no end to this yet, but I'll prolly work on it later on.

LOL, classic. I say it cuz I've done it myself too.

This is solid, although one thing I would probably change is making it so that ammo is automatically picked up when the player is close to them, the less buttons players have to remember the better.

Developer

Thanks :). I'll l take note of this.

I enjoyed the game but I feel like the visible area should be a bit bigger, most of the time the zombies were jumpscaring me because I only saw them when they were almost at my face

Developer

Oof... Uh... My bad :(.

It's more of a personal thing, don't get sad

Developer

I'll prolly fix it later on anyway hehe...

I like this! I think with a few tweaks it could become a good starting point for a full game!

  • Enemy hitboxes felt a little large, which made avoiding damage a bit difficult at times paired with the limited visibility. (The visibility is not an issue to be clear!)
  • It felt a bit rough moving up or down because of the way the camera follows the player. Perhaps adjusting it to follow the player a bit more strictly up or down would help a little?
  • This one is more of a suggestion, but I know survival games tend to have system that make enemies more likely to drop certain items based on what you need most. If you have lower health, enemies are more likely to drop health packs, and ammo packs for lower ammo. This doesn't mean shower the player in these drops of course lol.

Good job :D

I've might have set the camera drag too high but thanks, I really appreciate the suggestions. I might even start working on suggestion #3.
