Use of the limitation
The limitation was incorporated in 3 ways (intentional and unintentional). These are the limited number of ink pots allowed to spend each day, the limited number of creatures to actually research, and the limited number of hostile creatures (they are fully dead after they get killed).

I like the idea a lot. Having the goal of the game be filling up a bestiary is a cool concept. If you developed it further it might be fun for each creature to have a little minigame or something to earn the entry
I like it!I'm very tired of games where the main gameplay is battles. This kind of games are cool even if there is not so much content.
The game is really beautiful. I did feel like I was walking around a little aimless though, perhaps a tutorial could work just to introduce the player to the concept and overall goal of the game?
I like the idea of researching creatures and exploring the environment, but it mostly ended up feeling like aimless wandering to find things to research, which just amounted to clicking a few times when I learned that things seem to only have 3 parts of their entry. I also couldn’t figure out where to get a sword, so I didn’t get to interact with the combat at all. However, this game absolutely has the best presentation I’ve seen in this jam thus far, the graphics are all wonderful, my only issue is the walking sound got a little grating after a while.
Cool game! I feel like the gameplay's kind of empty, but overall its good! Expecially I loved the art style!
really nice game just wished it had more gameplay instead of art
Felt a bit like an art game more than gameplay. Visuals were great but it felt like there wasn't much to do but just walk around aimlessly to find things. Cool concept though!
Cute
The visuals and concept are great! Just wish there was a way to move on to the next day faster than waiting for it to become nighttime as you can't do much during it until you obtain a sword. But still, I enjoyed it.
As a fan of Pokémon collecting, I highly approve of this cosy vibe on a concept! Great job!
Love the art for this, its so cute!
Pretty interesting concept. It would be nice to have more instruction in-game rather than the game page's description. Didn't quite understand some of the mechanics at first and having button prompts or some brief in-game instruction would help a lot.
I get that.
I probably should have, but tbh I ran out of time and it wasn't a priority for me, as I was focussing on the baseline functionality.
Thanks for playing!
