Really cool idea, but I think it could've been playtested a bit more. The art is super nice, and I really like the gameplay concept, but the enemies are really tough to hit, especially on tiny platforms. When i finally cleared the first level and the portal spawned, I walked through and it just dropped me down. With some polish this could be an amazing game.

One tip for this type of game is to playtest it before submission. This game could have been really good with just a couple small tweeks to the level design and some other things. Overall great job, and happy holidays!

The movement feels very touchy, you get hit really hard, at least that’s what it looks like, and there’s a lot of dying because of it. This is actually really hard, like very hard to finish, I kept getting bumped off every single time I got close to the end, which was pretty frustrating. That said, I really liked the sprite work, the characters, and the attack animations, they all looked great and had a lot of personality.

The enemy positions are incorrect, making it impossible to finish the game :(

I really love the sprite work for the gingerbread men and the little elf! I'm a little confused on how to progress though, since there doesn't seem to be an obvious way up.  It's also a little tricky to hit the gingerbread men on the smaller platforms. Regardless, nice game!

Thanks! I had to rush near the end for the map and progression. the way that you progress is to kill all the enemies in the area and a portal will open. i designed the tree as one asset because i was rushing, so i was stuck with what i made when i put it into the game engine. Thank you for your comment!
