Nice ! Maybe you should have put your splash menu on the right of the screen, it recovers the beautiful artwork !
that was my friend tom he makes great work! check him out at his art station!
Cool concept !
I love the drawing mechanic here xD makes it so punishing if not done correctly!
The music is nice
Found a small bug where the music volume is at a level but on settings seems to be max, if you touch the bar even if you don't move it the sound will finally "update" and blow my ears off xD Small stuff!
Congrats on the submission!
Discovered that you could spam clones and filled the screen with yetis :D Oh noes! But then continued with honor to play it "properly". Unsure the clones are necessary at all, or maybe they should be spawned from the same ressource you use as the drawn ramps. Like a little x drawing that will shoot a yeti at that spot from the first one? Music fits the game, but never sure how to rate if the music isn't created by the team.
Overall had quite some fun and i can see the lvls further escalating, gj!
The hurtboxes for the enemy projectiles seem really big. It would also be nice to have the option to keep my previous lines for when I restart, if I feel like I had good lines but just bad timing I'd like to be able to try again without having to re-draw them.
I loved being able to draw my own ramps, but I agree that level 2 was super hard. It would have been great if there was an option to keep the lines you drew when restarting the level. I also noticed (and I don't know if this was intentional), but if I drew really fast I could draw a lot more length than carefully drawing my ramps. Great job completing your first game jam entry!
Super cool for the first finished product! I've managed to beat the first three levels! The concept is brilliant for the theme and the levels allow for experimentation. I'm not sure what the point of shooting clones is,I wish they could block some of those fireballs coming from the ground, but besides that it's a fun little game!
Graphics could be better but I like the concept. The character could be less rigid, it gets stuck on parts of the red line that seem smooth enough.
Fun little game, I'd made the drawn lines editable and not lost when the player loses.
Weaknesses
The UI is a bit difficult to read in places.
It would be helpful to have a way to exit levels from within the game. (at least I couldn't find one)
The enemies can feel somewhat annoying rather than challenging at times.
Strengths
The theme is interpreted and implemented well.
The art style is strong and consistent.
The music fits the game nicely.
Nice game! I do agree about the fireballs - I feel like the game doesn't even need them. If it was strictly a physics puzzle game, I think it would be great and very fun :)
Cool idea and nice art!
The flying fireballs felt unfair as they seem random and not properly communicated how to work with(against) them.
I wish the blue text was not so extremely hard to read.
