You should definitely flesh this one out! Can definitely see some awesome puzzles down the road if you do! I think the controls need some tweaking. Main character felt a little too slow (maybe, he is a skeleton though so they can only go so fast haha) and the 3d camera needs some extra polish. But yeah, super cool base idea here! Definitely interested in playing more if you ever go further with this!
This is potentially a great game. It needs more polish. I’m hoping to playtest a more refined version soon! It is hard to make a game this complex and big in such a short time.
I like the look of it - it happens to be the first 3D game I've played in this jam so that was a nice change of perspective, literally! I think it's quite a cool and ambitious concept that needs more time and space to experiment with, so you can bake up some really ingenious, brain-twisting puzzles. As it stands, the gameplay loop for me felt like: move in 3D until you can't go further, then switch to 2D until you can't go further, then switch to 3D until you can't go further, on repeat. In other words, it was quite linear and always very clear when I need to switch perspectives, it's not something I needed to puzzle out.
That said, I did keep falling at one particular jump and never made it to the orb, so there probably is a puzzle there that I didn't figure out 😅
Still, well done for making this! I'm sure it was no easy feat creating the level and coding the shifting perspectives... I have no idea how I'd even go about making that work, let alone putting it all together in a weekend, so kudos to you!
Thank you for the feedback, much appreciated!
I also feel like maybe my idea was ambitious and a bit too big for the time given so 90%of my time was spent figuring out the logic for switching perspectives and about 10% designing the level :/
i like this concept! 3d modelling looks great - just wish the timer was a bit easier to see and that the camera wasn't so twitchy. but otherwise, great job :)
yeah… my timer canvas bugged last moment and I needed to submit the game :(
I like the concept and the spooky skeleton, nice job!
thank you!
