Cool game! I really liked the lighting and sounds, especially the fire crackle sound. The EYE is a cool idea too. If the butcher could hear my footsteps, I think that would elevate the scary factor

I like the game in theory, but in practice you can easily beat it without ever using the Eye mechanic. I think the butcher would need some more complex AI for it to really work, like a hide-and-seek type thing? I don’t know. still, it’s impressive given the time :-)

The quality is good enough to be perhaps the best game of the jam. I really liked how you used the theme, thinking outside the box. The graphics are good, the movements are good, only the head might not be the best, because I was in full screen and it didn't look behind me. Apart from that, a great game.
