Love it! The character is very cute. The idea is simple and effective. It's the kind of game I'd look forward to more levels of :D
It was pretty clever! I noticed that in the buttons room and in another room, the one before the last, I needed to head back and re-enter to progress. Was that intentional?
The one before the last, it's intended.
The one with the buttons, the solution is to push between 1 and three 3 buttons and just wait a few seconds. Pushing 4 buttons is supposed to restart the room aka failure.
In the bottom left of the screen is a hint for each solution, but it doesn't scale with your screen size and can be easily missed unfortunately.
So by exiting I waited. That makes sense! It was a good puzzle game. I came back to it several times.
I just adore the starting level. The puzzles are not hard, they just make sense to me, as if this is just the tutorial. The gameplay is tight, just wish there were more levels.
Really fun little game! Very cool puzzles and fits the theme perfectly! I enjoyed the simple controls too. For the last room, it told me "bad job" at the top of the screen. Does that mean I solved it or no?
Yes, it says so in the instructions. I got the text too. Not sure what i did. Was not able to get it again (even when I let the character think).
That's what I was thinking. Also not sure what I did! Totally solved it by accident, but I'll take it lol! Couldn't repeat my solution again either
Happy to see you enjoyed it. The solution is to unfocus the game window.
Oh I love that solution! That's how I accidentally did it! I was thinking about it, went to check an email, got up to think more, and then came back and it was solved. Thought maybe it was time idle w/ the little question mark visible, but I should have known not to trust my eyes XD
Well, that was super fun. I realy like those riddles, especially the one with buttons.
Thanks a lot!
An excellent game, but I have a small suggestion. I'm not sure if it's due to my monitor's resolution, but the text in the bottom-left corner is so small that I didn't notice it even after playing several times. I reached the final room without understanding what it was trying to convey, but my friends later pointed it out to me. I replayed it with the text in hand. Upon reaching the final room, “thinking inside the room,” I could truly appreciate the developer's ingenious design. So I believe your copy and the game are inseparable—consider placing the text in a more prominent spot for easier observation. Though maybe it's just my eyes playing tricks on me.Nice game!!
Thanks! That's good feedback you are right, I'm gonna adjust the ui once voting ends.
this was super fun! loved the 3d aspect and it was fun to solve all the puzzles :DD
I like how slick it felt to control - that little green ball moves around quite nicely! Opening menus were really clever and funny, and I enjoy not knowing what to expect from each new room.
Couldn't figure out the final room. I thought sitting there and thinking about it would work, but nothing happened. Maybe it'll come tome one day hehe
Overall, great job!
Nice entry. I loved how "incorrectly" the menu was rigged.
Fun concept, I honestly don't know if I finished the game or if the last puzzle stumped me. But I liked the flow of the game. :)
Thanks :)
The last room can be solved too, the solution is very unintuitive tho. I should add achievements that communicate what's completed and what not.
At first I thought the mark was just for fun, but when I stepped into the last room, I immediately understood the intention XD. I'd love to solve more room puzzles!
One idea I had from my first look at your game: the Ames Room. Might inspire you.
Thanks for your tip, I struggled to come up with more puzzles so I'll check that game out. My game is a bit inspired by This is the only level, I bet you'd love that.
Hah thanks for the rec! BTW, the Ames Room I mentioned is just a famous human experiment demonstrating a visual illusion ;)
Ah gotcha, just checked it out. That definitely has potential to create some funny twists!
It was quite funny when a question mark appeared above the character , I was just as confused as it was XD.
It’s a good game with simple mechanics and short , fast pace puzzle solving.
Haha thanks :D
Really nice work for a day! I'd love to see how you'd have expanded it if you worked on it during the full period of the jam :)
Honestly content wise not much, I struggled much to come up with puzzles. Happy to hear you enjoyed it!
I liked it, I got stuck on the "easy" think inside the box room. Good stuff
The last room is unfair, if I didn't create it I wouldn't find the solution either
