Can I fix an important problem in my game?

I am novice, still learning. So, for my game, I used color detection. But, I guess that the color is coded depending on the browser. It works perfect on my laptop (both Windows and the browser). But then I was notified that it was not working properly with others. Now, I came up with a different strategy to that should work. So, can I modify the logic of the game? It is going to look exactly the same, but it is going to work the way it should. Right now seems like a simple painting game. This is my game: https://doriliangames.itch.io/graffiti-libre

If it doesn't work, you get stuck in the first level. You don't get to play the rest of the masks.

You sadly won't be able to change it, if your game is web-only, because you can only have one web build uploaded at a time and your original jam version mist stay accessible. After the rating period is over, you can change it to your hearts content. As a temporary solution, you could write on the games page, what browsers it is compatible with. ^^

Hope that helps and happy new year!
