The enemies have masks that need to be knocked off with pies. When their masks are removed, you can defeat them.
The characters in the game are ferrets, with the protagonist and antagonist both having mask-like markings.
Also, the enemies in the game are thieves that wear masks to conceal their identities.

just a tip to make the viewport dimensions smaller! the game takes up all my screen so for a smoother experience i recommend adding a fullscreen button or making viewport smaller
