At the moment I am leaning towards the Goblin. He has a number of abilities that could be useful in staying active through the game and most special abilities are based on page and not rest.

I'm leaning towards the Plaguebringer or the Blooddrinker. I'm sure it'll end up being one of those two, but it'll probably be Jan 22 before I know for sure which one.

I'm leaning towards Goblin, but Rat and Vampire look really good aswell. I'm sure I'll end with Goblin tho.

where did you find the additional characters? The only two I see are deathweaver and covenborn?

I'm not sure if these are the official ones that will make it to print, but if you go to the game page (https://sundialgamesllc.itch.io/2026-quest-calendar) there's a downloadable zip file that has all of the character sheets.

I'm so tempted to just do a side-by-side playthrough for each! Makes for more daily gameplay, too.

That's pretty much what I plan to do. I've played the last two calendars (well, didn't quite finish them...) that way. I'm also a person who tends to want to see every possible outcome for a video game, too. ;)

I got a bit of a late start, but I was deciding between necromancer, goblin, and vampire and I'm doing goblin - he seems fun and has tons of good abilities.

Was between goblin, necromancer, and crone... tough choice but ended up going with goblin. All of them seemed powerful in their own way as they leveled up, but the goblin seemed to have a little more utility (hopefully the extra gold makes a big difference haha). I also thought it would be cool to have a goblin be at the top of the food chain for once haha.
