Playing with UZdoom 4.14.3, the full capacity of the shotgun is 8 shells, but changing weapons will reduce it down to 7. Scrolling back to shotgun allows you to load another single shell which also disappear on weapon change. Do it enough times, and your inventory is completely drained

Fixed, it was a really silly mistake on my part
