It's alright
I apologize about the menu's not being as intuitive as they should be, so I'll write an explanation of the menu.
The menu buttons do not use mouse input but instead keyboard
The keys A and D are used to select items in the menu.
To press a button you have to use the E key
To open the menu you have to use the M key
For closing the menu in levels, you have to select the continue button
The grey color is to show that a button is highlighted
Next time I'll try to make things more intuitive for the player.
Yea got a bit stuck with the menu, took me a while to realize that the grey was meant to mean the button is highlighted
For anyone else trying to play the game: you can’t click to interact with the menus, you use WASD to navigate between buttons, and press E to select.
Also, once you go up a set of stairs, it’s really hard to go down. You can rapidly alternate between W/S to descend the stairs.
Regarding the stairs, I haven't had an issue with descending them in development, and my friend didn't have an issue when playtesting, was it a one off issue or did it happen multiple times? Did the player get caught on any blocks? Anyways thanks for the feedback
