Wow. Y'all did an amazing job. The core gameplay loop is a blast and as an Overwatch fan, the sliding and jumping felt amazing like you took Soujourn's kick and ported it back to the 90's. Music was fast paced and fun and being able to switch between the gun and the sword gave it a sci-fi samurai feel while giving an engagement choice that felt satisfying. Enemy types were great for this and topping it off with the boss was a cherry on top. Super well executed and insane level of polish. Huge fan after playing that.

Really awesome game. I really like the cutscenes, they have a really 90s vibe to them. Music is great, especially the boss music. And general controls and gameplay feels good too.

Absolutely insane movement. Love the way momentum carries into jumps from slides. And then the air strafes! Pure slickness.

Hey, you beat the developer scores!  DX

Very well made. Great job team! The combat and movement were very responsive and satisfying. It really felt like a true Quake style Samurai game. Great aesthetics and level design.

The difficulty felt well balanced and I felt like I had enough mobility to dodge as I needed to run for the health around the map.

Cool concept and great execution! I'd love to see more of this project.

Really well done with this! Addictive, Fast and tense! Enjoyed this one alot, fit the theme really well and perfectly captured the vibe!

Great game! It’s a bit hard to hit the enemies with the sword without getting immediately killed though. Also, great work on the aesthetics!

I was a little out of my depth with this game. The aliens were on my like white on rice, so I kept getting murked lmao. That being said, it's clear a lot of work was put into this game. Good job team ❀⸜(˶´ ˘ `˶)⸝❀

This is pretty good! You have to be on your toes the entire time or else those aliens will get you. I was on the lookout for enemies the whole time. The sword quickly becomes overshadowed by the gun. Even if it takes more hits to kill an enemy with the gun, it’s more advantageous to keep your distance.

I’m shocked how much stuff the team was able to put into this game in such a short amount of time, in 3D no less, and not only that but how enjoyable it was. My favorite part of the game is how the world is one big level and crossing the bridges/long paths mark the end of the “level” and gives you a ranking. It’s more interesting than a level clear screen and fits the tone of the game.

The music is great! I especially love the main theme, how heroic it is, and how it showed up during the final boss.

I’m a little sad that I’m not in the credits at all, not even as a special thanks, but I understand that I left the project near the end with nothing more than a prototype and so none of my 2D work made it in the release. I made a little website to talk about my unfinished work on Tempest there.

I read your blog and all the work you did towards the project. Despite none of your work making into the final game, you worked really hard and I think that counts for something. I have my fair share of half-finished or abandoned projects, but all that time and effort doesn't just go away. Great job dev - keep working hard ( ˵ •̀ ᴗ •́˵)☆

It's obvious that a lot of effort has been put into this game! The retro game visuals are very impressive.  It's obvious that your team has put in a great deal of effort on this! But I suggest giving more attention to the combat feedback. For instance, the determination and guidance of attack range. The diversity of attack methods, etc. These are all worthy of encouragement and praise!

Wow, this game is very cool. Love the graphics and feel of it. Very impressive for the time limit.
