Creative Vision / Rationale / How Did You Incorporate the Theme
The theme image for this GameJam gave me a feeling of being close yet just out of reach.
Since I’ve been playing bullet hell games recently, I wanted to capture the sensation of "getting really close to bullets but never getting hit."
That’s why I decided to create a game centered around bullet time, allowing players to dance gracefully through the bullet hell.

Interesting mechanic, which could be used in other games to add tension when you're about to take a hit. I like it, maybe with more player abilities it could make something pretty cool.

I died so fast the first time, haha! But I couldn't help but try again immediately. That’s definitely part of the game’s charm怂

Well Done! I love the game.

I like this concept, and your execution is nice and juicy! The early-game and late-game feel very different from each other, which is a cool progression.

Eventually, the game enters a perpetually slow state because the slow timer resets every kill and it's impossible to miss when the screen is covered with enemies. Is there a more engaging way of ramping the difficulty?

Thanks! Glad you liked the 'juiciness'! I actually thought about adding some Roguelite elements—like a 3-card power-up system—to keep things fresh. Ideas like parrying bullets during slow-mo or having special 'slow-mo zones' would definitely add more depth. Sadly, I have a busy day job and only had two days for this build, so time was quite limited. I wish I could have spent more time on it!

Very interesting!

Great feel and visuals. I had fun purposefully slowing time to kill the enemies more easily. It reminded me a lot of Superhot. The game feels pretty barebones though. I would have appreciated some more enemy variety.

I really enjoyed the gamefeel and the visuals! I do wish there was more of an effect when you got hit, I found myself losing health without realizing it a lot

Thank you! That's a great point. I agree that the feedback when taking damage isn't clear enough right now and definitely needs to be optimized.

The game feels and plays good. Also the art style is really nice.

I do think though that something is missing, I don’t feel like I have that much choice as a player. Maybe, I can only activate bullet time for a certain amount of time, or maybe my bullets are limited and I have to do something to get more bullets, or different types of bullets and so on…

but overall, enjoyed it <3

Thanks for the suggestions! I totally agree that adding more strategy would make the gameplay much richer. Unfortunately, I have a busy day job and only had two days to build this game. I really wish I had more time to implement features like that!
