Creative Vision / Rationale / How Did You Incorporate the Theme
When I first saw this image, my immediate thought was "connection." It's because of "connection" that two people meet, have a future, and create a story. Combined with my long-standing desire to make a game that breaks the fourth wall, the initial concept for this game took shape. A girl, trapped in a room, can only try to seek help through a computer, thus creating a "connection" with the player. Over the course of seven days of communication, you can continuously care for her, guide her, take her hand, and lead her out of loneliness and fear—or accept everything as it is. Alternatively, you can respond indifferently, ultimately parting with nothing more than a polite handshake before letting her go. In my game, the competition theme is more like a concept of "redemption," but this concept permeates the entire experience and is deeply intertwined with the game's core theme.
