It sure is frantic. Got to 3000+ combo with SSS rank by doing literally nothing on the level with two speed fields. Bro just kept boinging from the walls with 90 degree angle and was killing enemies that were spawning all the time. I leveled up like 20 times, went to kill a boss, all of the enemies had no chances against me. Maybe it's too easy, I think it needs some kind of a tactical approach for me to be interesting, like in pool. When you want to change your direction you have to hold a button to slow down gradually, but if you have an enemy on your path (that you cannot see cuz you're too damn fast) you'll come into collision and get hit (cuz you're too slow). Because of that I don't want to change directions and I'm leaving the game in an "autoplay" mode. I think that a time limit could actually be beneficial here, motivating people like me to move! There's a boss to kill! No time to rack up points and levels! Maybe I'm jaded but it's too silly for me.

I think you're definitely onto something with the difficulty concerns. I'm aiming to make it a pretty casual game and appeal to post-Vsurvivors zoomer / gen alpha sensibilities.

Kino. Red guy feels much more fun due to his special. Love the introduction of the "campaign" with the map and the boss. Loved the boss, very fun fight. The whole game feels VERY good.

On thing I'd suggest - show the room transitions on the minimap, cuz I got confused one time about the lack of the bouncy pad

I played for about 15mins. Used only the default character.

Some thoughts while playing:

- I do not see the point in ever picking an upgrade that subtracts a stat. Intuitively, it seems safer to always pick the upgrade that only increases your stats. I have also seen at least two sets of upgrades while playing where two of them increased the same stats, but one also subtracted a third stat so there was an obvious choice.

- I am willing to concede this one as a skill issue, but I am a terrible masher and do not enjoy doing it. I played on keyboard, though, so maybe it's not so bad with a controller. Usually when the prompt came up I would switch from mouse to spacebar so I could use two fingers lol.

- I am still not too sure what the endgame is exactly. Is it to rack up as many points as possible? To survive? After a while of bouncing around, the game kind of plays itself. It feels like it needs something to encourage more intentional play, like a wave system where you need to rack up enough BP points in time or you get a game over.

- I think the current letter ranking system might be too basic. For this type of game a more clear "number go up" feedback for scoring might feel more satisfying.

- It would be nice if the gained BP was displayed somewhere on the screen while playing. Right now, the main motivation for multiple playthroughs is to farm BP to unlock the other bros, but there is no way to tell how much I have gotten until after I quit / die. Also how long would it take to farm the 8k BP for the third guy? By that point shouldn't you have accrued enough levels with the other characters to make them more viable?

- Could be just me but I think the fullscreen option is easy to miss. Was originally going to write down how I would appreciate a fullscreen mode and then I accidentally pressed the "windowed" button and it turned on.

- I really like the character designs and aesthetics, especially the title font.

Had a long day today, and watching the ball guy bounce around and obliterate enemies was surprisingly relaxing. Keep up the good work.

it just keeps getting better.
the only thing that really bothered me was the fart sfx. it's honestly not very juicy at all.
if you can't find a better one i would remove it entirely, it doesn't mesh at all with the rest, it's very obnoxious
does freeplay even have a way to lose? at some point i deliberately tried to die, but my bounce stat was so high that even if i stopped completely i would just resume bouncing as soon as i touched anything

I think you can get killed if you ever stop boinging fairly easily with all the mob density
But no not really

same thing that happened to ralph happened to me(picrel). it took me a while to even comprehend what was going on half the time, but i got the hang of it(i think). it all looks very appealing and polished. maybe having the player time a buttonpress that gets harder to time with each upgrade and forcing them to stand still while being bombarded by enemies isn't the best way to go to next level.

Dont know whats going on with this respawn bug. Working on it.

To warp, you don't have to time anything, just holding charge while rolling over (can start holding before you go over it) it is enough to stop and begin warping

I wasn't sure at first but it grew on me, especially after I got some missiles and upgrades. I got sort of lost a few times but eventually found a room with a key, but died to the tougher enemies before I could pick it up. And then it spawned me out of bounds. It sort of reminds me of Kirby's Dream Course on crack.  Bouncing around at lightning speed is great fun.

I had a lot of fun, I wish the guys had some sound effects, but other than that is is extremely polished. Can't wait to see where this goes.

Had a lot of fun playing this. I became faster, and bouncier, and faster, and bouncier, and more momentus, and it all converged into me blasting through the level like a ray of light in a hall of mirrors.

The method of moving to different levels didn't feel good to me: it's weird that getting more upgrades makes it noticeably harder to do what is traditionally a UI input.

I guarantee like ~5% of players will just never figure out how to use the pad and give up.

And am I just allowed to keep farming the easy level 1 for infinite exp?

And the level switching just brings me between the same 2 levels.

I know how you could solve all of these problems very easily: No switching levels! Just put me in a big pinball map and leave me there, and spawn harder and harder baddies.  If it works in vampire survivors why change it.

I like getting faster, bouncier, bigger, and badder.

TY for the feedback.
Free Play mode is more of the VS mode, I wanted to try a more dungeon crawler approach with the other Solo mode. I think you might be right about the warp pads
