Creative Vision / Rationale / How Did You Incorporate the Theme
The inspiration for this game comes from that iconic, glowing moment in the world-famous painting where two fingertips are on the verge of touch. We see more than just a detail of hands; we see a sacred instant where two separate beings are about to connect, to transmit light and energy.

Our core intuition is "the communion of souls." The touch of fingertips represents the smallest physical contact, yet on a spiritual level, it symbolizes understanding, resonance, and the transfer of life. In Soul's Odyssey, this "communion" is translated into the core gameplay loop: you (the spirit guide cat) do not force lost ghosts onward through power, but rather listen (through counseling), empathize (using the Healing Tome), and understand (by copying building concepts) to reach the core of their迷失. Every successful guidance is not a one-sided lead, but a moment of luminous synthesis between two souls, where you help rekindle their faint light toward rebirth.

The game's control scheme echoes this theme—clicking, talking, copying concepts—all are different ways for you to forge "connections" with this world and its inhabitants. Ultimately, we hope players experience the profound resonance of gently touching another life, awakening it, and finding their own solace in the process. This is the story of connection and rebirth we perceived within that glow.

This is a cute entry, you have some nice visuals and music. I also had the same issues with tutorialisation and getting stuck behind trees other reviewers had. I'd also put some tool tips on the items in the build menu so people know what each thing does. Congrats on finishing.

I love the little rainbow cat favicon! The character and UI animations are sooo satisfying, and I also really enjoyed the music. I was able to mostly figure out how to play by just messing around, but I think more of an interactive tutorial could help with the confusion on the mechanics that other comments mention. If you continue work on the game, I would address that first. Also, I encountered a bug where if you walk into a tree in the outside area, you can get stuck, but that's an easily avoidable thing.

Overall, I think this entry was very cute and unique and featured nice visuals and music. It seems like the type of game that I could end up getting addicted to and play for hours, which is pretty rare for a jam game. Great job!

The cover art really caught my eye! It would be great if the game guidance (or instructions) was a bit clearer, though!

Good visuals and audio! It was a little tough to figure out the controls implicitly so I think a tutorial would have helped a lot in my individual experience. I do love the theme and concept. It felt a little hard to get the spirits to keep following you because when you change your character direction the flashlight changes with you.

Overall a nice submission, thanks for sharing!

A little bit unsure of how to do much. Visuals were quite nice and I was able to realize I was supposed to bring back the spirits to the teleport position. But it was hard for some reason to get them to follow and it was hard to remember and get back to the teleport position when I did finally find the souls. Gameplay loop needs some more consideration.

From your submission, I read you wanted to incorporate themes of human connection and spiritual resonance. I unfortunately can't feel any humanity in this game's story, presentation, or execution. Though no disclosure is present, I have a strong impression that AI was much more involved in the process than any human.

I would not spend my own energy connecting with a story that does not wish to connect with me.

I wasn't sure what I was doing the entire time. It'd be better if you have a tutorial implemented.

Outside to  find souls by flashlight, bring them to the teleport position.  On home, can use book to copy the building concept and close to souls to give them or wait they enter the building. When the soul fill concept, it can reincarnation by click the bottom center button,
