Good art and music! Touching ending! Respect for the card game!
Interesting card game! I really like the art style and how the core concept ties into the theme. The only small point of confusion for me was the manual "draw card" button, which slightly disrupts the cardplay flow somehow. But I believe this part will be very valuable as the strategy grows more complex!
Thank you for enjoying our game! The 'Draw Card' button represents the action at the start of each round, where you need to draw two cards first (or three cards if you selected the 'Little Bear Talent' at the beginning of the game). These drawn cards are then added to your hand for the next round of combat.
Due to time constraints, we weren't able to implement all the feedback mechanics for the combat interface. We'll definitely work on improving and polishing this in the future. Thanks again for your kind words and support!
I really like your card gameplay, the game sometimes crash here and there but it's a great way to use the concept!
Thank you for liking it! If you get stuck, you can press ctrl+F5 to refresh and then you can play normally!
Neat idea. I really liked your intro scene. I found the gameplay lacking a bit, I just clicked random cards/buttons until boss was dead and never took any damage.
Beautiful art and good music choice. Unfortunately, the card mechanics were very basic and the bosses' moves lacked variety. So I ended up always playing the same set of 3 cards for the entire game.
The drawings are nice, the choice of music I think is nice as well, I liked that each boss had their own music. I think the game misses a bit more strategy… I found myself excited to see what other monsters / bosses were like
I really like the work you did on the static images here. The game could have done with some feedback so when you attack or get attacked you feel it more. Some work probably needed to be done on what cards get drawn. I didn't have an attack card until round 3 which meant I didn't have much to do for awhile. I also received the bug another reviewer reported. Congrats on finishing.
Oh wow—thank you so much for such a thoughtful comment!
I’m the artist on this game, and Pill Bugs by your team was actually the very first game I played during this game jam. The art style instantly grabbed me, and I had a lot of fun playing it!
I especially loved the interaction between the two bugs (being able to stack them together is so fun!).
We’ll definitely take your feedback on the card mechanics seriously and keep working on improvements. Thank you so much for the helpful suggestions!
P.S. I haven’t finished my play tasks yet, so I can’t freely leave a full comment on your game just yet :-(
P.P.S. This reply was written with the help of a translator—sorry if anything sounds a bit off!

thank you very much, glad you liked it. Good luck with your game.
A cute card game! I love the watercolour feel of the artwork, along with the scanned in drawings of the bosses. The card designs are so cute as well!
有bug,创意很不错。
你好,我是这款游戏的程序,这个问题你可以点确定 然后按ctrl+F5刷新一下 再玩的时候就不会出现了,没想到打包成网页会出这种bug
I really love the art style! It’s such a fresh and cute game. There are a few small bugs, but nothing major!
By the way, here is my own project: a puzzle game based on the mechanic of swapping NPC AIs. Feel free to play and rate it: https://keerzhu.itch.io/handshakeprotocol
