Just gonna ask now that it is the new year is there any updates we should be hoping for? If no reply then I would take this as dead or abandoned.

Ah, right, never made a post here, I forgot. I did in Discord and not here, here's the TL;DR:

I hit severe creator's block with the game parts of this but didn't want to leave the story hanging. I was always going to do a novel "adaption" of it, so I decided to switch the order and do the novel part first and then finish the game after. As of a couple months ago it started releasing to the public (if you want to read it, it's posted to Scribblehub under the same name), and is barely past where the game is (think the intro to the next chapter. But it's a doozy of an intro).

Consider it a second draft of sorts. There are some minor/major changes (depending on how you look at them, they don't change the overall direction of things), but it's quite a bit more detailed in places the game isn't. I know it's not everyone's jam and it kinda sucks when things change medium but I really didn't want to let the story languish because of difficulty in making the stuff around it

welp at least I know now and for it to be a rewrite for me it is fine since the game is still continuing so now I am excited.
