“Cool game, but for me it’s definitely too hard. However, I really like the transitions between stages and the art style! The music kept me going, and it’s nice that there’s a bit of a grind element. The camera angle bothered me a bit at first, but after a few runs you get used to it :)

Thank you for your nice comment and for this feedback, I greatly appreciate it! Yes the game has an extremely high difficulty on purpose, especially with a camera angle that was made to be not conventional and not logical for readability on purpose either. I knew it was gonna stop/bother a lot of people, and I even know some people ended up rating full 1 due to this, but this is totally normal and expected. That's not a level of difficulty I would normally use in my games, as I like accessibility, but for this particular experience this is what I wanted for my story through design.
I'm really glad you liked some elements and ended up grinding through it a bit to try to reach the simpler times!
ABSOLUTE CINEMA (even though I suck at it it was fun enough to let me stay addicted long enough to it for me to beat it)
The ability to buy more time and the cinematic intro was super cool! Sadly the game was too difficult for me, mostly because of the isometric view I think. But overall a nice game and a very unique way to integrate the theme.
Great game, the cut scene is perfect but I don't know it happened to me when character turn 16 years old my controller become stiff like it is hard to control the player but overall great game.
Pretty fun game :).. I hope Unity doesn't ask for money again

Lol
( if you can play and also rank my game call kill or be killed Mario exe.. I really appreciate it :) )
I think its cool that you can make your next run easier with buying more time. But I think maybe you should get more time points based on how far you are since it would make getting far way more rewarding if the farther you are the more rewards you get.
This is a fun game! I like the replay ability with the time upgrade system and how it connects with the theme(: If I had to critique I would let the player start with more time because I found myself getting confused at the start of the game.
Thank you so much for your comment! Yeah I definitely understand your comment, I chose by design to throw the player in with only a few seconds so that they get confused and feel the unfairness of the situation, and try to build their way up against this frustration (or decide to give up, which is also a great choice). Thank you for this nice feedback!
Thank you for trying my game! Yeah it's definitely the absolute opposite of your game in terms of mood and difficulty, as the game is meant to create this frustration in the player. I definitely knew ahead of time a lot of people would give up really early, and that's totally ok and fair! Thank you for this nice comment and for trying it anyway :D
the game was absulut cinema
i loved the concept of the game and the gameplay is so smoth
Great connection to the theme and fun but challenging gameplay. The camera perspective did make it a bit tricky to tell if I was going to hit something, but usually there was room to stay well away just in case. Very well done, especially for a first jam!
