I could not find anything that the NPC's ask for. I picked up only one brownish item--something looking like two baked potatoes :D. I could not get to the screens of all the screenshots you show.

lol what a cute game! I love the silly little sfx for everything and the very unique form of communication between characters! I also like how it just drops you and lets you explore!
