Very well animated. It took me a while to understand the mechanics, I think the game crashed when I finally hit the bottom though? If I'm to criticize it the first thing that comes to mind is a faster way to let me play again once the monster gets you, I was just refreshing the page. But other than that, 3D pixelated games are already hard to make pretty, let alone 1-bit ones, and you pulled it off flawlessly. Very atmospheric too, good job!

Like the 2.5d visuals, and i love how you created some atmospshere here by the way the game actually plays in addition to the art and of course overall theme

This is BRILLIANT!

THIS is what I want to see when I play a game jam entry. Something new, different, unique, creative, immersive... I always felt like being in that elevator, avoiding the lizard and looking at the masked creature in the eye. It's crazy what people can achieve with just a couple of sprites and good sound and atmosphere.

Oh and I never understood what I had to do with the fire, I guess clicking or dragging but it always ended up killing me so I don't know.

Still, great job, loved it.

thx
also for the fire you just had to avoid it with your mouse and it moves slowly to a random position around the mouse so it will slowdown when its near and speed up a bit if its close

The gameplay loop is really fun, this is pretty solid!
