Had a lot of fun with this one! Reminded me of Vampire Survivors.

Fun little Brotato-lite.

I think audio may have been glitched, the synth feels oddly off-beat with the drum loop.  And I really think the ranged attackers would benefit from some telegraph that they are about to attack.

That said, I did have fun!  We will bring justice to the ninja.

Developer

Thank you! The audio may have been due to this https://github.com/karl-zylinski/odin-raylib-web/pull/14 but the PR was merged and I implemented it in my game. It actually may be a bug in my ChucK code, hate to admit it.

Thank you for playing!!

I like the auto-attacking fists! It’s something I haven’t seen before, and it felt good to play!

Hey, this is cool, bro! I especially liked the hit animation. And those ninjas — they’ve long deserved some payback. A great take on this genre.

Developer

Thanks! the color masks on the hit animations is one huge benefit of using Raylib

Always love to see games that are made with engines that I never seen before. I think the screen kept flickering when I entered the, but after a while it was fine.

Developer

Thanks! Odin is a really awesome programming language. I love learning about new tools too. One thing I'm not quite used to yet is the level of control that lower level programming gives you... that's probably why you get some screen flickering when the textures load. I'm still learning how to render graphics optimally, but there aren't any memory leaks that I've observed or anything like that. I am working on making a web version now.

Thank you so much for playing!

Hii! Congrats on submitting! Always nice to see a fellow Raylib programmer! :D

I'm not really sure how hard it's on Odin, but with C Raylib you can use emscripten to compile for Web, this usually attract more people to see your game!

Wish you luck! Kudos!

Developer

Hi thank you so much!

Oh no, I hope your eyes weren't damaged from reading my horrible code! Ha!

I know its super important to compile for the web. My last jam submission was done with Odin and I did find a guide to compile with emscripten. I should have used it from the start, especially since I have no save files to write or anything like that. Oh well, I'll give it a try now and I'll be ready next time!

Thanks so much for your advice. And its really nice that you looked at my source files.

Cheers!!
