A simple idea with a great recreation, I really liked the detailed animations and the appropriate music with sounds, a well-chosen palette
Very much the same feedback as others, more clear direction would be very helpful i also had difficulty navigating the menus. I really enjoy the color palette choice though and I really like the main character! I can't tell if anyone mentioned this but I appreciate that the "into the depths" theme was as much about going deep into debt as it was about digging!
Thank you so much! Glad you liked it.
It was really difficult for me to understand that I had to sell the item I got at the start to begin the game. But once I did, it was rather fun. I liked digging around and finding all sorts of stuff and upgrading my character. But at some point it gets kind of repetitive. I reached level 7.
Thanks for playing and commenting! Lots of players get stuck at that part or even discard instead of selling by accident so we're gonna make it more intuitive after the jam.
I loved the game, I cant thank you enough for letting me go into eternal debt but at least one shotting every chunk of the level. Great work !
It's not my place to discourage the player from horrible financial decisions. I'm glad you had fun playing, thanks for leaving a comment :)
Original game ! I got lost a little bit at the start, wondering what I should do, and thinking I could dig the ground. But after unlocking the level, and trying to get back up, I finally understood that I needed to go deeper to find another shop.
I got carried away at level 5 and sold too much and ended up in debt. Too bad I wanted to reach the max radius to mine everything in one go.
The mining is fun because the breaking of the blocks has a good feedback, it just misses some stuff like indications that you may have a stack of diamonds in these rocks, or enemies.
Thanks for the heads up! We're definitely gonna polish up the game after the jam ends so I really appreciate this comment :)
The particle effects from breaking were a lot of fun, which I had time to add something of the sort in my game as well (digging/mining mech). Also, kudos on having the tutorial in the intro, which was also skippable. I, too, ended up selling and discarding a valuable item until I saw that the bottom led to the shop again. After I understood that, the game clicked for me and became a very enjoyable loop.
Thanks for playing! :)
Very fun endless game. I wish the tutorial was a bit more intuitive, because it took a little while before I figured out how the debt worked, and how you needed to have no debt to progress through shops. I liked the animations for the miner and the sound design is very good! I spent a good 30 minutes mining!
Thank you very much! Glad you enjoyed it <3
My experience was:
I sold the first diamond at the first store, started digging, and midway through all the digging I found out that I could upgrade the stats. Then I thought "what keeps me from upgrading this like crazy?" and boosted all the stats.
I was cooking so much with that pickaxe.
Then I got to the second store, and realized "shit" upgrading that badboy so much got me in so much debt I couldn't pay with the loot I gathered, and had to give up and try again.
I REALLY LIKED THAT ! It made me realize on my own how the game worked, and the gameplay loop.
I don't have any complaints, besides maybe wanting some obstacules to avoid while digging (Maybe there are some down the line, I didn't got so far)
In general a very nice and well thought experience.
Thanks man :)

I gotta tell you, I was like 10 minutes trying to figure out what to do. It wasn't intuitive to me that I had to sell the first piece I found on the chest, I discarded it because I didn't know there was a difference between pressing I next to the shop and pressing I far from the shop and I didn't know how to get rid of the floor since it looked like you would be able to mine through there (I thought that was what the game was about).
But after I figured out how it worked it was so satisfying mining, I wish I could jump higher since when you mine a lot and you increase the radius you can't go back up and the fun part was mining like crazy. That was a good entry to the jam, good job!
Thanks for reviewing and commenting :)
Thanks! I was also stuck for like 15mins at the start. Now I can finally play the game! Selling that first piece is so confusing.
