Some of the winners from the 1929 jam seem to have use generative AI so I wanted to ask if this is a pro-generative AI jam ? or if it's just allowed or if people have to disclose its use ? 

I don't plan on using it but I was wondering.

I just checked in with the other organizers. The jam's official position is: "We accept any game that meets the criteria laid out in the game jam, and are neutral on the tools game developers use to make their games."

I believe that Itch requires developers to disclose the use of AI upon submission of a game.
