Nice game!
I liked the game! The timer really makes me panic 😅. The graphics aren't great, but they're still better than mine. The sounds are excellent!
Thanks! The sounds were fun to make
Good game! i love timer animation :3
Thank you! That was a fun one to make :D
Nicely done animations, simple but looking good (I mean spinning effects etc.) Beside that chill game GG
Thank you!
It was a fun game, especially after the first few runs where I understood what I was doing.
Others have pointed out but man the start menu is a bit overwhelming when you first load up the game.
One little touch I loved was the outline of the timer started spinning more and more frantically as the timer counted down. That and the music speed up led to me feeling rushed (in a good way!)
Thanks! Menu is definitely something to consider more next time I do a jam. I’m really glad you noticed the music, it was the result of about 15 minutes of improvisation
Oof, that was intense. I don’t like games that limit you by time, but I do like games that pressure you to think and act quickly — they’re similar, yet completely different things. This game does exactly that.
Thanks! I’m happy you enjoyed.
Great job on submitting your first game! I'm impressed by the artwork, what did you use?
My advice would be that theres way too much text onscreen in the beginning. I don't know where to start reading. People these days have really short attention spans so a clear, easy tutorial is crucial.
Thank you! I used Pixen and little bit of GameMaker’s sprite editor for the artwork. If I could go back and fix one thing it would be the tutorial, it was unfortunately rushed.
Congrats on your first solo game! :D Hope you feel proud of it!
The game hits differently by 3am xD I can't remember most orders. As feedback, I think you could separate the tutorial in multiple screens or pop ups. Also try to keep the viewport size on standard values, currently it could make people leave before playing, I like to keep this as a golden rule: if you give any difficult for the players to start your game, they probably won't play.
Kudos.
Thank you! Yeah, viewport was an issue I didn’t realize until late in the process. All things to note for next time lol.
I don't understand how to skip the tutorial and play!
Press P!
Cool!
Thank you!
Very good game, but I think at the beginning of the game, when you play, there's too much information at once!
“This is the third game in a row that I can’t get to start. I haven’t understood how to begin. The browser view doesn’t work, even when I press Ctrl– as suggested.”
Sorry to hear that! The game doesn’t work well in full screen, you just need to zoom out in the tab and play it from there, hence ctrl-.
Fun game but man is my memory bad.
I’m glad you enjoyed! I didn’t realize until after but yeah it’s pretty much a memory game lol
