A simple yet lovely game. The art was simple but charming. Maybe some sound effects would be good, but I did not particularly miss them.

After I reached the GG room, I accidentally and immediately launched myself off a cliff at great speeds, at which point I found myself in permanent free fall.

The game has a good concept but I'm difficulty with the gameplay and how easy it is to soft-lock the game. The detection for picking up the crate is really small, so I got to really walk into the crates or mirrors to be able to pick them up. It is also very easy to trap yourself with the platform created via double jump. It would be better if players could pick up crates mid-jump as its possible to get soft-lock in the early levels if you leave a crate on a platform and can't retrieve it.

Jam Judge

The game's description mentions some guards and a day limit but honestly I didn't see it in the part of the game I could play. (the third mirror room)

I'm sorry, I ran out of patience after having to restart multiple times due to getting softlocked and didn't play the game to the end.

Cute Shiori sprite and nice music.

The puzzles are well crafted. I liked how some required thiking out of the box and fetching something from a previous room, but the game needs a way to prevent or fix softlocks.

Some improvement suggestions:

- There are many places where the player can softlock themselves. I got stuck by double jumping at the far end of the "double jump" room. I suggest adding a way to jump down from the spawned platform, like pressing down+jump.

- I dropped a regular block next to a mirror one in one of the mirror rooms and due to the way the terrain is made, the mirror couldn't be picked up to be taken to the next room where it's needed to progress. Probably could be solved if Shiori could pick up the block she's standing on top of.

- I also managed to throw a block to an upper platform and ended up not being able to climb that platform because the block was uhh... blocking the way.

Overall, it's a good game. Hopefully you can get back to it to make the softlocks less troublesome for the player.

Fun little puzzle game.

Definitely a little rough around the edges, but there were some interesting puzzles that make good use of the simplistic mechanics.

I really like how the double jump leaves a platform that you can use as an environment object (even if its prone to breaking things lol), and that in itself can already do a lot of heavy lifting in puzzle design!

Also really like the art and general visuals.

With some polish on the soft lock issues, and a little bit of preventative measures (I got to the GG and then fell into the void cause there were no colliders on the side, so I think that was the end?), then you could expand this into a fun Shiori-based puzzler! Good work!

The puzzles are intuitive enough to solve, but the countless soft locks makes it hard to play through. I soft locked after getting the double jump and jumped into the letters, then had no way of getting down or moving. :( A short and fun puzzle game though.

I'm kinda surprised to see all the comments about soft locks. I found the solutions rather obvious. That said, it probably would be a good idea to have some sort of reset room option that also puts you back at the entrance you came from.

As for my experience, I don't particularly like the jumping, but I had no other complaints. It's a decent game.

Suffering from soft locks, I unlocked a crazy soft lock where I dropped a block on myself and the game crashed...

I got the secret ending lol, can you figure out how I did this:

Overall cool game and mechanics, but could use some tuning. Also quite a few softlocks:

Interesting puzzles but the soft locks do be discouraging! When you double jump there is no way to get rid of the yellow platform which caused me to get stuck in 50 different places lmao. Cool visuals though!

Definitely just a proof of concept, but I like the idea. I wanted to solve it despite the many soft lock parts.

Good concept! Needs some polish and more level design and testing. I took a picture of a place where I got stuck and had to refresh the page. Also, for the puzzle to the right of this room, I'm not sure if I solved it correctly, but what I did was grab a box all the way from the oddly empty room on the left in order to open the doors... wasn't sure if that was a more hacky solution, or intended.

I liked the idea of the game! Very interesting puzzles too! Needs a little bit of polishing but it was fun to play it. After the HI RISSA i just fell to the void, you could add a little end screen there!

Tricky!
