I appreciated how different it was then a lot I've looked at so far. I'll probably come back and play a little bit more later actually.

Pretty original , pretty arcade pretty good . it might be one of my favorites .
Really fun game! The visuals are great! Gameplay is cool and I like the twist with the changing controls - cool idea!
Pretty fun game :).. I hope you can play and also rank my game call kill or be killed Mario exe.. I would really appreciate it :)
It's a simple and fun game, and I could add an item that appears on the map, so players would have to take a risk to get more ranking points. Good job!
yoooooooooooo i love thess game soo mhash the gameplay is grate
i played for like an h or 2 and i still will play it more 5/5
The only bad thing about this game is that it doesn’t have a web build. I especially loved the menu design, great job!
Love the game(: its polished with good music and a good concept. I also like the good main menu something I definitely need to work on(: If I were to be picky though one critique would be that most of the early game was to easy. I didn't have to move much to dodge the enemies. But overall good job!
This is pretty nice. I like the idea of moving with typing. The variety of enemy patterns is a great touch. The gradient you achieved on the blocks is satisfying to look at. I wish there was a bit more than the black background because the music and blocks made me feel like I was at a club! If you added flashing lights and colors and visuals in the background I think the overall setting would be elevated that much more. Great work, nice and simple game.
This game is actually quite amazing tbh. The presentation is pretty polished and the gameplay is simple but fun. I like how you came up with a lot of combinations for the projectiles :) it makes the game more unpredictable though I felt like the difficulty curve is quite low (I had to kill myself because I had been playing an attempt for 20 minutes straight XD). I find it hard to find anything not good to talk about this game :D, you did a very great job!
Thanks a lot, I really appreciate the feedback and the detailed info! I’m glad you liked the projectile combinations.
I’m actually surprised you felt the difficulty curve was too low. For the first ~40 seconds it definitely is, but after that I felt like it ramps up pretty fast. Based on my code, I honestly thought the game would become almost unplayable after around 6 minutes. The best player I tested it with usually died after about 4 minutes, so you must be some kind of keyboard god, haha.
Do you remember what high score you managed to get?
This is really cool concept. I really like the style and the effort you clearly put into the game. I'm always amazed when devs make cool games with simple shapes! :) I especially love when I find hidden funnies like what you added when you go above 1000 for the volume.😂 I could not manage to get anywhere close to your score though. I guess I need a bit of practice... 🤪definitely going to play this some more. Overall really good game, well done!

I thought I knew what was gonna happen, but the fact that the letters change every move is super cool. I sure love the fact that I have my keyboard printed in my brain, and yet it was challenging. It's really cool that you kept it simple by just using the built-in assets, so great job on that aspect as well. The whole design definitely works as well, so great job on this game!
(I made sure to suffer as much as you did on my game by beating the highscore.)
Thanks a lot for playing! With games that have to be downloaded, it’s always extra nice knowing someone took the time to do it, so I really appreciate that. Thanks for the kind words 🙂
Also, wow until now only one person had beaten my high score, and I tried many times myself without success. Do you remember what score you got? There’s a chance you might actually be the current world record holder in my game 😮
This was fascinating, I love it. really creative Idea and really polished for 1 week. I would never thought Unreal was able to do such simple games(I only know Unreal for AAA Trash). 4.5/5
Thanks for the feedback, I’m really glad you appreciated the idea and the effort!
I’m a bit surprised that Unreal surprised you, to be honest. I always thought it was one of the most loved engines out there, but I guess I might be living in a bit of a bubble, haha.
Thanks again for taking the time to play and leave a review!
Its a great game :D I loved the retro aesthetic and vibe of the game. The gameplay was good, but I was mostly staying still in the same area waiting to dodge the projectiles. I think adding an incentive to move across the map, like an apple in 'snake', would help break the monotony. That way, I would feel encouraged to keep doing something at every part of the game. Also would love to be able to see my score as I play, so I can aim to beat my score the next time I replay the game. Your submission is great and unique and I enjoyed it :D
Thanks a lot for the quality review and for the ideas on how to improve the concept. The idea of collecting points around the map is great and will most likely be added if I continue developing the project. I experienced the same monotony myself at the early stage, just waiting in the center of the screen, and simply increasing the difficulty didn’t feel like the right solution. Your suggestion actually solves that problem really well.
Showing the score during gameplay does make a lot of sense. I was worried that it might hurt the clean, simple look of the game, and even more that it could interfere with visibility, especially with enemies spawning from the top of the screen. Still, I think it’s probably worth sacrificing a bit of visual simplicity so players can clearly see their score.
I’m thinking about expanding this idea in the future and possibly turning it into a game focused on learning keyboard typing. If you have any more ideas, feel free to share them. I really like your approach and feedback.
Thanks again for the great review!
Connection to Theme: 3/5. I mean, it's just retro, not a very strong connection to the theme in my opinion.
Enjoyment: 4/5. It's simple but got me to lock in.
Presentation: 4/5. Music is awesome and looks fine but visually it's a bit too simple.
Gameplay: 3/5. "Employee number 427's job was simple. He sat at his desk at room 427 and pushed buttons on a keyboard."
Creativity: 5/5. Simple idea but I've never thought of it before.
I’m really glad you appreciated the idea. It was the most important part of the game for me, so it means a lot that it stood out to you.
Visually, I intentionally kept things simple so players could focus on the gameplay rather than the presentation. I also wanted to use only assets and features available directly in the engine, and I managed to stick to that approach, with the exception of the music.
As for the gameplay, I agree that there are definitely a few things that could be improved.
Thanks a lot for taking the time to play the game and for leaving a quality review!
