well i think this is pretty fun gameplay but maybe next time use your own sprites (before you say im a hypocrite i wasn't the one who made the tilemap and the player and everything level 1 to 3 my friend derek did and i made the rest of the sprites i made in scratch editor) also for the idea part of the rating i have nothing to say but sense this is a beginner game jam im gonna give it a 4 because it is kinda good
well the game theme is good just a suggestion for to add your own sprites you can use spritepacks as placeholders and i understand game jams are mainly prototypes of real games but you know just a friendly suggestion
I quite like this game, minor bugs like the emoji gets lost on the browser version because itch doesn't support emojis but fine other than that, cool game
Some bugs i want to list though are: You get stuck on enemy shields and bugs out trough them or in them sometimes and the enemies can just stop instantly if you get in front of them(this might be intended though)

Very fun game, the main game loop is really good, but sometime the music is getting bugged but that doesnt affect it that much, I would like the game to be a little bit more challenging, like if it was a little bit more difficult it would be more fun, altho it is still fun, and like challenging gameplay is not for everyone right? I am just enjoying challenging games more.
Yay fun! This is cool and cute. A bit easy, but fun. I notice enemies never spawn at the top of the level so you can just sit in the top right and spam and win.
Nice game, the music is working fine in the browser for me, otherwise there weird stuff like be able to pick "shoot three bullets" two times ?
