I think something went wrong, because it was unreasonably fast. When I opened the music menu, things would slow down randomly. I woud ask though, why not have music automatically? Anyway, I managed to play the game until the end. I also have a keyboard with no arrow keys, not easily accessible though, but I managed to play it because I didn't need to press the arrow keys and space at the same time. Anyway, I really like the idea. Only in game jams I see pogo jump platformers, and I genuinely think it's an unexplored area we could tap into. While I can't say for sure due to the high speed I had to deal with and my limited keyboard, I didn't notice anything terrible you did with the controls, the times when the speed was reasonable it felt really good. Maybe just figuring out these bugs and you'll have a great game! I like the two songs I heard in the menu and I also thought the art is cute. I particularly liked the 3D intro but maybe I'm biased for 3D 1-bit art. Good job overall!
I think the music not opening automatically and the high speed are bugs. I need to fix those!
Love the game! But, I do have to report that it has issues on high refresh rate screens. At 170hz, the game's physics run so fast that it is impossible to control. Playing on my laptop that has a 60hz display it plays perfectly. Very imaginative game and I love the art. Keep up the great work!
Oh! Maybe that is why some players have been saying it is too fast. Thanks for reporting! That's a serious bug with the high refresh rate screens.
Very creative and cool game! Your use of the 1-bit style to create interesting visuals and effects was awesome. I know its probably cause I'm bad at the game, but the player felt too quick and I had a difficult time controlling them.
Thanks for the feedback! I got another comment about the quickness of the player too. I will consider adding some more floaty physics (it also makes sense since this is in space).
Fun game with unique gameplay mechanic! I think it could have done with a bit more polish, and at times I was confused by new things, but I figured them out eventually. Good entry!
Thanks! It's a lot of different mechanics right after another so you feeling confused is understandable. I really wanted to show off as much of the cool stuff I came up with so I just jammed a lot of mechanics in.
Very nice game, loved how responsive everything felt!
Very nice game ! The world switching mechanic is the same than the one in my game, but with way more effects, I love how we got the same idea, but you made a way more complete gameplay loop than me aha.
The graphics are very nice, and the small blob teaching you the mechanics by saying the key to use on the first levels is a nice touch.
I didn’t get what the gems are for though, when I missed some I could get to the next part of the level and there was no score.
The diamond collectables are there just for fun. But you gave me a great idea! I could make some areas where the player has to get all the collectables to progress! Thank you.
Nicely done. Those were some cool effects you executed with just two colors.
Love the way you really took advantage of the 1-bit limitation! Having a color switching game with only two colors is very fun, and you definitely pulled it off. Good job!
Super creative mechanic, I love it
I think the art, some of the original platforming concepts and ofc the lovable space bunny are the major high points in the game! I think the lack of control you can feel over the bunny and its really fast speed can be kind of frustrating though. Id be super proud of this entry!
You can slow down the game for with the UP arrow Hover move!
