It's a neat little game, It's definitely entertaining trying to survive as long as you can before the RNG decides to hate you. I think the song could use some tweaking, since it sounds pretty weird once sped up to a certain point, but I like the idea and overall fun game, I had a good time.
Really cool idea! Having the music speed up is a novel concept!
I have to say it's rage inducing in a good way, I ended up saying like "give me a platform, c'mon give me a platform!!!" and then leaping into the abyss to just die, haha it was hilarious, it seriously left a smile on my face!
I do agree with the first comment, the RNG can mess up your run so bad, even if you pay attention and you do everything right if you don't get a platform, you're dead. RNG punishes you in a cheap way.
I'd also fix is the fact that if you're in the air (jumping) the death collider at the top of the screen shouldn't kill you, that way you give the player a last chance, a "leap or die" option, otherwise if they don't have a platform below they're dead because if they fall they die and if they jump they get killed by the collider. This way you'll at least give them the last chance of reaching a further platform.
It's simple but it was really fun for a couple of minutes. Good job!
Thanks for the feedback! I really appreciate it!
Neat game. I liked how the background music ramped up with difficulty. One suggestion would be to adjust the perspective, after a while it felt like I was just hoping to spot a platform below me in time. Being able to see more vertically would help a lot.
Ohhh adjusting the perspective is a good idea! That definitely would've helped with the issue of not knowing when/where platforms would appear. Thanks for the feedback!!
Too basic. Too random.
