Good job on that jump scare, haha I wasn't expecting something to happen so soon, so it got me. Had a strong sense of fear as I descended and explored the new 2nd floor.
The idea is great but a bit hard to understand what to do. The hints (like "press E to do this") sometimes are bugged and they tell you to press E but it won't do anything, like pressing E to enter the drill it only works if you stand to the left of the drill, but if you stand over the drill the hint for leaving the drill will appear (but you're outside).
Also I can't beat the creature on level 2, it always kills me no matter how fast I run, I try to get on the drill as fast as I can but even if I'm leaving with the drill it kills me so I don't know. Also it's not clear what I must do, if I should run, stay, block the hole somehow and to find out I have to do it all over again.
The text at the beginning is too small, I can't read it and the full screen button is not enabled and the CRT shader overlaps colors and makes it unreadable. I'm not even sure if the CRT shader is allowed because it's supposed to be 1 bit (only 2 colors) and the shader adds more colors, but maybe I'm wrong and it's allowed, I don't know.
The art is great (I'm only judging assets, I'm not a fan of CRT shaders), the drill mechanic is my favorite part and the atmosphere is super creepy and misterious, I wish I could finish it but unfortunately I couldn't play past level 2 and I don't know what to do.
Thank you so much for you in-depth comment! The creature is supposed to kill you, since the game really is just super short. And yeah, I do know about the interaction prompts as well as the tiny text, maybe I'll get around to fixing them. :)
For "theme" this is actually my favorite entry so far specifically in that category. I think it achieves what you want it to a achieve. Good work on this game its honestly solid all around!
