You have about 70 combinations. All around this is a really cool concept. I like the controller, and the camera controller during the fight. I think there are things to improve, but you're on the right track. I think something that would have made the game feel a lot cooler is if the items aren't just piled on the floor, but just around the office. Then I'd get a sense of discovery along with the cool building mechanics. "Is the fan on the table a hand? What about the stapler?" kinda thing.
That said, what you have is still impressive. I hope to see this again in round 2!
It took me a minute to understand how to actually move the objects in 3D, but once I understood it was quite easy to do. I would have wished for the bot fighting to look a bit more exciting, but that wasn't the purpose of the jam
I was a bit disappointed that everything has a specific point where it has to go to, I wished it was a bit more free (Like the robot building section in Undertale Yellow if you've seen it)
I got a chuckle out of this 😂
Took me a good minute to understand how to actually attach the junk, but once I figured it out I liked how my little junk robot looked! Good Job!:)
Interesting idea, just needs more options with junk and the abilities they give. Had fun playing. Good job.
Really cool concept, I like the idea of putting together robots from scrap pieces and seeing them fight. I do wish that I could use certain pieces in different areas, with more impact to the combat system. Also, I think that adding more intrigue to the actual building system (minigames for assembly, walking around to find pieces, etc) would have elevated the customization a lot.
It was fun building the robots and seeing them fight. Well done!
I'm glad you liked it, Thanks for playing :D
I'm glad you liked it! Any suggestions to improve the controls? :D
Awesome, I felt like hiro hamada :P
That's one compliment I wasn't expecting. Thanks for playing :)
I couldn't get the parts to attach, playing in Firefox.
Here is my gameplay:
Also, I noticed that when not fullscreen, the text gets cut off.
Looks like a cool idea, though!
Hey, thanks for letting me know, from what I've checked it definitely works on Google Chrome-like browsers! Have a good day and thanks for trying it out
The placing of the parts feels very powerful
Hey, thanks for playing :D
Love the concept, really cool game!
Thanks for playing! Glad you liked it :D
very original! I would like to see where this goes!
I would appreciate it if you check mine out.
Thank you! I'll make sure to check it out after work :D
The game seems like it could be really cool but I was unable to build my robot. Being in a 3D space, I can't seem to move the parts back far enough to click into place. Maybe I'm missing a step?
You can use scroll wheel to move the parts further/closer. Have a good day :)
I'll try the game again once I'm on my pc and not laptop and re-rate it
No worries, I hope you'll be able to make a bit this time ^^
