The game is very responsive and allows you to get hooked, but I would like to see more information, for example, how much is left until the next level and how much I need to complete, since it is unclear how much content there is and how long it will take to get it

I loved the simple L-R gameplay. The powerups vanished before they got to me. So I discovered up and down. This would have been fantastic for mobile with just L-R. As it happened it is solid desktop game. I think I killed the big guy, saw a 10 pop up, but his minions got through to wreak havoc so maybe I should have seen what was the worst he would have done, unchecked. Nice art.

Engaging game. I like the SFX you chose, particularly for the dying skeletons. It made it more addicting to take them out. The rougelite elements were nice; I deeply favored rapid and multishot lol. Good call on adding the xp pickups to have the archer have to expose themself to danger to collect leading to a nice high risk reward element.

Been quite a while since I last played a space invaders-ish type of game. I like this one, the skeletons were very well drawn but I wish they were more animated. The level up bonuses were a bit unbalanced, I think multishot and rapid shot were by far the strongest, and the explosions hitting you was a surprise I was not expecting. The game is also not technically 1-bit because the health bar became grey once you emptied it out, and the particle effects were also fading, but overall I think this is a very pleasant addition to the game jam. Good job!

Thanks, yeah multishot is op even after i attempted to nerf it last minute and buffs in general where the thing i wished i had more time to work on. With explosions it was a shader i found and turned it grayscale but forgot it s not actually 1 bit

Simple, stylish, and engaging!

it's a very cool idea. The gameplay is very interesting and addictive. However, I believe that improvements can be made in more specific areas.

Developer

Thanks, yeah there is a lot to improve especially in the buff and balancing area
